Pokemon theme party games

You could create a bean bag toss from cardboard, have them toss into buckets, or knock down targets. We played musical cushions just like you would play musical chairs, but used pillow cushions instead on chairs because our guests were so little. We had competitive little guys so we decided to take two pillows away each time so two people were out at once.

Matching was such a hit at the Mario party, we knew we had to do it again. The kids loved it just as much this time. Makes it easier to flip the images over and over during the game. We made this game the night before by getting red solo cups, candy, tissue paper red, white, and black , and with elastics. My kids helped fill the cups with candy, then we placed the tissue paper that we had cut into squares over the top.

We secured the tissue paper with rubber bands and placed them into position. To play the game, the kids took turns punching one of the cups and then collected the candy inside the cups. We just kept it flat on the ground to punch. We had ordered these yellow favor bags. We printed a face on this sticker paper and had the kids finish the rest of his face. We knew we wanted to decorate bags before we did the pokemon hunt so they had something to put their pokeballs into.

These pokemon ball bags are a great one and done option! This was such a fun activity and the boys all loved it! I had ordered these colored vending machine balls and these Pokemon mini figures. We placed the mini pokemon figures inside the balls with some tootsie rolls and sealed them up with this black electrical tape.

We did cut the tape in half and added a white circle to the top. Once the kids had found all their allotted pokeballs, they came inside and we awarded them their official Trainer certificate and added more goodies to their favor bag. We let each guest pick a pokemon card and one of these Pokemon Pez Dispensors. It was such a fun party!
